Proposal to Update the Bylaws

In Sandbox, everything is co-created by the community—whether it’s retreats or online experiences. Sandbox offers you a chance to imagine and build alongside a group of kind and curious people with a wide variety of life experiences.

Most initiatives simply require your drive. Want to organize an expedition to Antarctica? Go for it. No need for permission or consensus.

That said, some decisions do require consensus, and these are often codified in our bylaws.

For example, the bylaws specify that 80% of candidates must be 33 or younger, with up to 20% from any age group. Interestingly, this wasn’t always the case—the original bylaws stating 30 years old as the limit age of entry were amended in 2023. This happened thank to a Proposal from two Sandboxers (hi Joshua and Georgie! 👋🏼).
