Candidacy for the Board of Directors

In Sandbox, everything is co-created by the community—whether it’s retreats or online experiences. Sandbox offers you a chance to imagine and build alongside a group of kind and curious people with a wide variety of life experiences. Most initiatives simply require your drive. Want to organize an expedition to Antarctica? Go for it. No need for permission or consensus. That said, some matters require action and oversight from the Board of Directors.

The Board serves as the governing body for Sandbox’s legal entity, managing finances, handling legal responsibilities, and overseeing community-wide initiatives.

Board members are among the community’s most active contributors, meeting biweekly and maintaining ongoing communication. On average, the role requires about 10 hours per month.

The Board is led by a Chair, a position that demands a higher level of commitment, as it involves participating in nearly all aspects of Sandbox. Currently, the Chair dedicates 20–30 hours per month to this work.

If you’re ready to step up and run for a position on the Board of Directors, you’re in the right place.
